Cole Sandau likes to start companies.  Over the years, Cole has been fortunate to start or co-found three organizations – The Optera Group, The Visualization Company, and Health Scholars. 

Cole excels at identifying unique market opportunities, creating the first product iterations, and adjusting the product-market fit. This process involves building the initial organizations and establishing key industry partnerships. Over the years, Cole has raised both Series A and B financing rounds.

Cole has been fortunate to work both directly and indirectly (via management consulting engagements) with some amazing companies in the health care and technology spaces, including Abbott, Arthur Andersen, Cisco, Comcast, Covidien, Cyberonics, Dell, EMC, Kingston, Johnson & Johnson, Juniper Networks, Isilon, Medtronic, Merck, NetApp, NexSan, Novartis, NTT, Qwest Communications, St. Jude, Storage Tech, Sun Microsystems, Symantec, Verio, and VMware.
