Catherine Jones

Catherine Jones is currently CEO and Chief Strategist of Zuzi Strategies where she advises client on business strategies, structures, financing and term sheets Previously she served as General Counsel of Upside Business Travel, a DC technology start-up in the travel space.  She is a strategist at heart and has a specialty in corporate structure, company fundamentals and fundraising.  She previously had her own solo corporate law practices and holds a design patent on her own invention.  Previously, she served as General Counsel of Virgin Mobile Latin America, a leading Latin American mobile services provider with operations currently in Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru.  Ms. Jones was previously Associate General Counsel with Kerzner International, a leading hotel developer and manager including Atlantis and the One&Only brands of hotels. Prior to her position at Kerzner, Ms. Jones was a corporate associate at Greenberg Traurig in Fort Lauderdale where she represented private equity firms and represented several SPACs in their initial offerings. Ms. Jones started her career at Shearman & Sterling in New York where she specialized in capital markets offerings, particularly in Latin America and represented several issuers in their IPOs and other financings, including project finance.   She is fluent in Spanish and had an internship on the Supreme Court of Argentina while in law school at University of Michigan Law School. At Wake Forest University, she double majored in Politics and Spanish and studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain while there. She is a strategist at heart and has a specialty in corporate structure, company fundamentals, strategic partnerships and fundraising.
