Ellen Williams
Ellen Williams is a self-proclaimed "technical storyteller" because she is an atypical engineer who combines a highly technical background with business acumen and strong communication skills. From an international service company to startup technology companies, her experience includes working closely with multi-disciplinary teams solving complex technical problems and effectively communicating their solutions. As VP of Business Development for Exum Instruments, a Denver-based startup company developing new scientific instruments, she applies the art of technical storytelling to marketing, customer engagement, grant writing, and ultimately growing Exum's business. Ellen has a MS in Global Energy Management from University of Colorado Denver and a BSE in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University.
In the fall of 2020, Ellen and her husband, Tyson, moved from Denver to Durango and couldn't be happier with that decision. Outside of work, you can find Ellen and Tyson in the wilderness, on the slopes, on a river, or at a crag.
