Heather Otter

Heather has a diverse career path from high school teacher to business owner to corporate training manager and she currently works as the economic development project manager for Region 9 Economic Development District. She enjoys combining learning, leadership, and community to get things done. Heather earned her undergraduate degree from Fort Lewis College in Psychology followed by a Master of Education with a technology focus from Leslie University. Economic Development provides a canvas for some of Heather’s favorite endeavors like increasing community capacity, elevating people to do what they can where they are, jumpstarting ideas, and getting outdoors.
